NEIGHBORS : COMPASSION

The Agape Fund combines all the resources Neighbors:Compassion has to offer. It is comprised of gifts, skills, time, and money that come from individuals, businesses, and churches interested in investing in their communities. While the generous efforts of these physical donors is not to be discounted, it is of utmost importance to recognize their sole function as conduits of God′s Love to us all. God is the ultimate Benefactor of the Agape Fund. The word "agape" is one of three greek words used in the Bible to describe love. And while the other two speak of love between humans, "agape" love refers specifically to the unconditional Love God has for every individual person.

In administering this fund, Neighbors:Compassion has the responsibility to freely pass on the resources entrusted to us as a message of that Love. Our mission is to be an "oasis of hope in seas of sand". If you have been approached by Neighbors:Compassion to become an Agape Fund Recipient, consider the following:
